The one with the things I liked this week (95)

Awesome door, awesome windows

Sometimes you just need to treat yourself (to a new planner)

Love this new Tony's Chocolonely flavour (banana + walnut)
(Tony's Chocolonely is a Dutch chocolate brand, with a cool mission)
(no idea whether or not it's available outside of the Netherlands)

How was your week? Things are starting to get cold over here, and I am very happy that the only outdoorsy thing I've got planned for the rest of the weekend, is a trip to the library. If you have any book-titles to recommend, I'd love to read them in the comments below. Hope you'll have a great weekend, see you next week (with a new DIY project). Cheers!

The one with the glitter vases DIY

I have a love for all things shiny and glittery. With the holidays getting closer, I feel like I can stuff my home with sparkly stuff, without any judgement. Back in january I made this glitter trinket dish, and had some leftover glitter. Except for shiny things, I love to make good use of my craft supplies and use up all leftovers. The vases are small treasuries acquired at a thriftshop visit.

What you'll need
  • glitter in a small bowl
  • glue
  • a brush
  • tape
  • a large piece of paper to cover your workspace and prevent it from getting glitterfied

 What you'll need to do:

Tape

Cover the bottom part of the vases with glue

Dip the vases in the bowl with glitter

Let them dry, I placed them on a coin, to keep them from getting glued to the paper

Carefully remove the tape, and you're done!

Are you a big fan of everything dipped in glitter too? Any DIY projects you would like to share? Please feel free to do so in the comments below. Or maybe a Pinterest board you keep with cute tutorials? As I am slowly turning into a couch potato, I love spending time at home, watching my favourite series, reading a book, or getting crafty!

The one with the things I liked this week (94)

True!

Seen on an evening walk

This one too

Came across this work of street-art ;-) whilst running some work errands

How about some pretty tiles?

Cake at a friends birthday. The caked was made by one of his co-workers, who participated in a tv show that was in search of Hollands Best Baker, he ended up very high! So you might be able to imagine how this tasted.

This building is next to our brick and mortar shop, I love the Holy Mary statue

These were some of the things I liked this week! How has your week been so far? Hope you had a good one. Have a great weekend, cheers!

The one with the soldier pushpin DIY

A whole bag of toy soldiers came home with me after a trip to the thrift store last year. For only 1 euro for a ginormous bag, I couldn't leave them there. What to do with them, was something to figure out later. During a recent cleaning adventure, they were rediscovered and some of them gotten turned into pushpins.

What you'll need:
  • toy soldiers
  • spray paint
  • pushpins
  • fast drying glue

What you'll need to do:

Spray

After letting them dry, glue

Stick

Dry

Done!

The one with the things I liked this week (92)

Discovering two new works of art on the street, if the whole alphabet's
there, there are many more to be found!

These were a gift from mom, I didn't fall of Paige's no shopping challenge-wagon (yet)!

Grocery shopping for a fondue-party. I know I could be making my own,
but the cheese from these packages are actually my favourite!

Making, photographing, and listing new stuff for the shop

After receiving new washi tapes for the brick and mortar shop, I decided to
keep these for myself!
