The one with some things I came across on several walks and bikerides

Here are some pictures of things I came across last year, when walking or riding my bike. I believe all of these haven't appeared on the blog before, but are too good not to be shared. Hopefully they'll put a smile on your face. These discoveries sure made me laugh!

The one with the things I liked this week (102)

Just some random photo's from last week. I now see that I happened to have mostly liked food this week :-)

At the cooking club I was team dessert. On the menu this month was puff pastry with a tiny pinch of cayenne pepper, a thick slice of baked pineapple, and coconutcream & ginger icecream, made from scratch.

Sunday high tea with Mom and S.

Doing some windowshopping, love this banner!

On my way to dinner with E.

After lentil soup + a big bowl of fries, we had coffee and additional goodies for dessert

Hope you're having a great weekend so far!

The one with the super easy pompom frame DIY

Today a super easy DIY, that you can whip up in just a couple of minutes. This tutorial was also featured on DaWanda in Dutch. Have you been feeling crafty lately? In case you posted anything cool, please feel free to share in the comments below.

What you'll need:

  • Pompom trim
  • scissors
  • tape
  • photo's or cards

What you'll need to do:
Cut the trim, for each card or photo you'll need 2 x height and a bit extra, and 2 x width and a bit extra

Place the trim on the front of the card or photo and fold the leftover pieces to the back. Secure all four pieces of trim at the back of your card (or photo) with a small piece of tape

And done! You can hang these with a bit of double sided tape.

The one with likeable links

Set in the street is an ongoing art project by Justin Bettman and Gozde Eker. These two build eleborate sets of unwanted materials and furniture, mostly found in the streets. After shooting the photo's, the sets are left in the streets, so passerby's can take their own pictures.

And how about these caramel brownies with pretzel crust from Milk and Honey?

It has been ages since I've been to the ballet, and the Nutcracker is something I would love to see one day. Over at the Huffington Post is a selection of stunning photographs of this world famous ballet throughout the years.
